Credits

Free accounts receive 40 credits when they are created, and again when a monthly period rolls over.

A first draft costs 8 credits. A revision costs 4. A repair costs 2. Builds are free.

The ledger lives on the server. The browser cannot set its own balance. If a run does not verify a successful preview, the charge is refunded. An unsupported revision is not charged.

Plan buttons on the billing page do not buy credits. They record that a payment provider is missing.
